U 2017. godini privreda Centralno-istočne Evrope (CEE) rasla je skoro dvostruko brže od privrede EU, a njena najveća preduzeća zabeležila su rast prometa od 11,8 odsto i profita od 16,2 odsto. Prema broju rangiranih kompanija Poljska je dominirala listom COFACE CEE TOP 500, dok su bivše članice Jugoslavije većinom imale dobre ekonomske rezultate, sa izuzetkom Makedonije koja je stagnirala, i Srbije koja je zabeležila nešto slabiji rast (1,8 odsto).
